Born and raised in New York City, Ashley is a self published author, poet, screenwriter, and blogger. Her writing career took off at age 9, after writing and illustrating her first book, The Alphabets which was featured on the TV Show Zoom.
Tragically, Ashley suffered the loss of her mom in March, 2012, taking a 5 year hiatus to grieve and find inspiration to write again.. In 2017, she made a powerful comeback, self publishing her second fiction book, No Regrets which is no longer available on Amazon. Just a few years later, while the world grappled with a devastating  pandemic, Ashley shifted her focus towards poetry, releasing two more books in 2020 and 2021: Bittersweet and Bittersweet 2 which are both currently found here and on Amazon. Her creativity and talent didnt end there. She decided to shift towards writing screenplays."The Unexpected" will premiere in winter 2025 which is a comedy/thriller. In October 2024, Ashley suffered the loss of her father. This fueled her passion to continue to write consisting of love, heartbreak, betrayal, pain and healing. Ashley's poems have resonated with so many people staying true to her vision: to touch souls through her words. Some of her biggest influences include the following women.
